Colour value determines the light or darkness of a colour. Value is an important tool in the development of creative projects whether it is handspun yarn, tapestry or cloth. The morning seminar will present the function and application of colour value through a series of visual aids.
During the afternoon, participants will learn how to use a grey scale to create balanced colour combinations for their to textile/fibre works. Students are invited to bring in their projects to problem solve their colour value combinations.
Equipment: students will be advised at a later date
Material Costs: $15.00 (includes commercially made Grey Scale for each student)
